Psychotherapy Blog

Most of us don’t make the decision to enter therapy when everything is going well in our lives.  What drives most of us to seek support is usually a challenging event or life circumstance, feelings of sadness or anxiety, relationship issues, or a sense that we are not living the life we want for ourselves and our loved ones.  And while the reasons and underlying causes may differ, there is a good amount of evidence showing that much of our suffering comes from the behaviors that we employ to deal with our life’s challenges.

My goal in writing this blog is to provide some insight into what many psychotherapeutic practitioners view as the root causes of many psychological dysfunctions, how we perpetuate them, and what we can do to move ourselves forward.  I hope the information I share here can provide some guidance and assist you to realize the life you wish for yourselves and your loved ones – a life that is informed by your values, and open to all the experiences life has to offer.
